Materials Pack & Instruction Manual for Off-Loom Weaving Class 1

If you prefer not to attend a live workshop, you can now purchase all the learning content and materials you need to have a go at off-loom weaving by yourself!

Included in this package are all 5 instruction manuals from Class 1 Off-Loom Weaving:

• Simple Twill (adaptable to a zig zag or herringbone)

• Simple Dogtooth

• Gingham Check

• Finer Dogtooth (a larger and more defined dogtooth pattern)

• Oversized Twill

The materials pack contains:

• A selection of beautiful yarns in a variety of colours - all industry waste

• 3 A6 plywood boards

• Double sided adhesive tape

• Flat ‘Bodkin’ needle & regular large-eyed sharp needle

• Paper simulations of all 5 designs

Each instruction manual takes you through the process from start to finish, from winding the warp threads around the base, to weaving each row of weft, showing exactly where to put your needle and when.

These patterns are suitable for all levels, whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned weaver.

Start with the simple chunky twill, and work your way down the list - the designs get slightly more complex each time, using slightly finer yarn each time.

You’ll be amazed by what you achieve, and let me tell you, its quite addictive!

Once you have finished each of these designs, you will be ready for Class 2, should you wish to continue and learn more patterns.
